Care & Cleaning

All of our products are manufactured from the purest metals available and finished by hand. This means that for all of our products, no two pieces are finished exactly alike.  In this custom finishing process, we work to match alike finishes for color and hue to provide the very best finish matched product. As should be expected, small imperfections in the surface and slight variations in color, for polish and satin finishes are the mark of hand craftsmanship.

Your Kitchen faucets and accessories are exposed to some of the most harsh conditions a metal finish can face. High usage and constant exposure to soaps and cleaners, varying water conditions and hardness, exposure to sunlight, and the almost unavoidable collision of pots, pans and cooking utensils makes your Kitchen sink a faucet’s true proving ground.  Just like you always get that first ding on your new car, it is inevitable that your faucet will indeed meet the same fate.

In order to give your Faucet or accessory the best chance of keeping that finish looking good, we have provided a simple finish maintenance guide for all our different finishes that we suggest you do your best to follow.

We all know that eventually all finishes finally degrade and require refinishing. Waterstone will accept your faucet or accessory part for cleaning, stripping, refinishing, or for whatever is necessary to rejuvenate the exterior to new condition if you decide that it's needed. However, if the finish problem is not covered by our warranty, Waterstone has no obligation to pay any of the related costs for refinishing and will quote your costs for refinish upon receipt and review of the part.
